Aerogen announced as winners of Gold Award in Skills and Knowledege in the IMDA Industry Excellence Awards
Aerogen are honored to be winners of the Gold Award at the prestigious Irish Medical Device Association (IMDA) Excellence Awards on Thurday 12th November at Dromoland Castle, Co. Clare. Aerogen are the winners of the Skills and Knowledge Award for their vibrating mesh aperture plate project which has resulted in Aerogen leading the world in its field of aerosol drug delivery.
Speaking at the event, Aerogen's managing Director John Power said, “This award recognizes the tremendous advances made in a truly unique area of medical technology. The breakthroughs the team achieved have resulted in best-in-the-world class products being produced in Ireland. These advancements could not have been achieved without the combined application of the knowledge and expertise of University of Limerick, supported by the state bodies EI and FAS working alongside Aerogen’s core development team”

Entrepreneur of the Year 2009
Aerogen's CEO, John Power, has been selected as a finalist in the International Category in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2009.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) award honors entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained successful, growing business ventures. The results will be announced in October 2009.

Irish Medical Device Association Awards 2009
Aerogen are honored to be winners of the Gold Award at the prestigious Irish Medical Device Association (IMDA) Excellence Awards on Thurday 27th November at Dromoland Castle, Co. Clare. Aerogen are the winners of the Innovation, Research, Development and Commercialisation Award for their Aeroneb Solo nebulizer, the world's first single-patient-use high performance nebuliser for administering aerosolised medication in the critical care sector. Used on life support ventilators the Aeroneb Solo allows doctors to more effectively target a wide range of life saving drug treatments directly into the lung.
Speaking at the event, Aerogen's managing Director John Power said, I am delighted and honoured to accept this award on behalf of the team at Aerogen who continue to push the boundaries in new product innovation for treatment of the most vulnerable and critically ill patients.

Export Industry Awards 2008

Aerogen were nominated as finalists at the Export Indusrty Awards under the Life Sciences Ireland Category. The Life Sciences Award recognises the achievements by companies in the Life Sciences Sector. Aerogen export 98% of their products to over 50 countries worldwide.
Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards 2008

Aerogen are shortlisted in the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards for the Connaught Province. Aerogen are shortlisted for the category of "One to Watch". This category is for businesses that have a strong growth potential. The judges will be looking at a combination of what the business has achieved to date and the plans it has to expand, grow and develop in the future.

Frost and Sullivan Product Differentiation Award for Emerging Technologies

The Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Differentiation and Innovation in the total nebulizers market was presented to Aerogen in 2005. Aerogen has best demonstrated the ability to develop and advance products with more innovative capabilities than the competing vendors. This award recognizes Aerogen’s successful adoption of the innovative OnQ technology that has become a part of its well-designed process family. Such innovation is expected to significantly contribute to the industry in terms of product performance and the degree of technical change.
